Connor Willumsen was born in 1986 above cold, Canadian soil. At a young age he became interested in looking at comic books and drawing explosions. Later, he became interested in reading comic books and writting about explosions. Four years of his life were spent at ‘The Alberta College of Art and Design’, and he got a peice of paper that says ‘Bachelor of Design with Distinction’ on it. Connor is spending one more year learning things at ‘School of Visual Arts’ in New York. At the end of that year he will not get any sheets of paper, but his social status will have greatly improved. It is a common suspicion that his desire to be a cartoonist in New York is a forlorn attempt to meet famous people. He says that is dubious, but he is strangely defensive about the accusation. He contributes regularly to comic anthologies and is currently working on illustrating an album (graphic novel) for the French/Belgian publisher Casterman. His table manners are satisfactory.
